Discrete maths approach

Can you please guide me how to approach discrete maths? I want prepare it alongside with what's being taught at classroom coaching, please suggest resources and strategy

Though I am a Gate Aspirant myself, but my suggestion would be to buy the Rosen book or study from pdf if you feel comfortable. First you need to understanding Combinatorics especially counting. Then go for Logic, Sets, Relations and everything else will fall into place.

Start with counting as the above comment says. Spend some time on counting as questions are tricky.Next go for logic,its easy and you can  solve mostly with intuition.

Sets,relations and functions are studies during our +2 and it is easy as well.

Lattices and group theory is the area you might want to spend some time and graph theory you can do it anytime after counting.
