If 15% of x is the same as 20% of y, then x:y is?

15% of X = $\frac{15X}{100}$

20% of Y = $\frac{20Y}{100}$

Given that those are equal, $\frac{15X}{100} = \frac{20Y}{100} $  ===> 15X=20Y ===> $\frac{X}{Y} = \frac{20}{15} $

 $\frac{X}{Y} = \frac{4}{3} $

(15/100)*X=(20/100)*y

x/y=20/15

x:y=4:3
