Let  $x$  be the total number of mangoes

Days

 $1$  $2$  $3$

initial mangoes

 $x$  $0.45x$  $0.2025x$

sells

 $0.5x$  $0.225x$  $0.10125x$

overnight remaining   [ $x - sells$ ]

 $0.5x$  $0.225x$  $0.10125x$

rotten  [ $10$% got rotten]

 $0.05x$  $0.0225x$  $0.010125x$

next day stock [ initial mangoes for the upcoming day]

 $0.5x - 0.05x = 0.45x$  $0.2025x$

$0.05x + 0.0225x + 0.010125x = 1983$

$0.082625x = 1983$

$x = 24,000$
