Consider an Entity-Relationship (ER) model in which entity sets E1 and Eare connected by an 1:1 relationship R. Primary key of E1 and E2 are A and B respectively. There is total participation at one end (say E1). Find minimum number Of table required in RDBMS

Ans is 2 tables.

Since the total participation is on only side we require 2 tables.

If there was a total participation from both the side then it can be merged in inly one table.
