gate 2006 question doubt

in the above question process is directly being given to I/O device.  is this possible?

i have this doubt because i have read that Process begins with a CPU burst and end with a CPU burst. During the life time of a process it alternates between CPU and I/O burst.

But here in this question we have taken I/O burst directly when the process starts.

please clear this doubt.

yes process will be First given to CPU ..But as Process is intended to do I/O CPU will send process to I/O queue..

(Because no process can allocate itself to i/o queue..only CPU has that right)All this activity takes place in very negliagble time so we don't consider it ...not only this

After Process Complete Its CPU execution and lastly went to I/O then after i/o process will not be in terminated state Directly ..It will be again go to CPU and then CPU makes it as terminate that is Completed Successfully ..
