Probability of getting a head=probability of getting a tail=1/2

Case 1: head occurs-->one die is tossed

Probability of getting a head=1/2

Probability of getting 6=1/6

Case 2: tail occurs-->two dice are tossed

Probability of getting a tail=1/2

Probability of getting exactly one 6=(1/6)*(5/6)*2

[2 is multiplied since 6 can occur either in the 1st die or in the second die]

Therefore required probability=(1/2*1/6)+(1/2*1/6*5*6)*2=2/9
