Paging advantage

Advantage of paging:

In a time sharing os, there are multiple users and multiple processes which should not interact with each other normally and one's process data should not be accessed by other processes, Paging is an example of virtual memory which ensures the above condition. So no extra implementation should be done in existing memory system to make it suitable for time sharing os. Thats why paging supports time sharing O.S.

What i was trying to say was, the statement paging supports time sharing os(or just simply say multiprogramming) because of its virtual addressing capablities( provides security ). And segmentation also suppports multiprogramming die to the same reasons.
