Number of tracks per surface=404

Track storage capacity=130030 bytes.

Disk speed=3600 rpm

Average seek time=30 m secs.

 

Find  the disk storage capacity and the data transfer rate.

How we can find disk capacity without having sectors and also how to find data transfer rate?

Disk Storage capacity= Track Storage * number of tracks = 130030 B * 404 =52532120 Bytes

Disk speed = 3600 RPM

1 round in 60/3600 sec

so in 1/60 sec ----> 52532120 Bytes can be transferred

Data rate = 52532120 * 60 Bytes/sec
