Best answer 6 votes 6 votes Let the man travel distance $d$ with speed $s$ in time $t.$ $d=st \quad \to(1)$ According to the question we get second equation, $d=\dfrac{4}{5} \times s(t+10) \quad \to(2)$ From $(1)$ and $(2)$ $\dfrac{5}{4}t - t=10$ So, $t=40$ Ans is d.
