In class A specially

0.0.0.0 and 127.X.X.X is used as special Ip address .therefore Both the addresses are reserved and used for special purpose  therefore : 27-2 for class A

But here possible number is asked , even 0.0.0.0 and 127.0.0.0 are possible , special though but possible , so shouldn't the answer be 2^7 and 2^14?

@prashant no we cannot use them because they are not possible network id we can include them if they have asked for the ip address possible but not for the network id

Ans - D

In class A , 0.0.0.0 is not used, it is used as i have no ip, when some host is not assign any IP they use this IP.

and 127.x.x.x is used as self-loop address.
