What is the difference between optimal window size and maximum window size in case of GBN protocol?
asked in Computer Networks by Active (3.3k points) | 25 views
As per my knowledge, Optimal window size , we can indirectly say that the maximum throughput should be
achieved . It means link utilization is 100%

In case GBN if window size is N ...then it means the N number of frames or packets  we can sent in 1 RTT
Yes I too think the same
Does optimal window size includes the receiver's window of size 1?
I think we should not consider it as the reicever window is already fixed as 1
