For (A+B+C+D)' we will have to do it with 5 gates then one for E' and then one for ((A+B+C+D)'+E')' whch will finally give us 7 NOR Gates

Minimum 4 NOR GATES required.

Place the NOR gate in place of every AND OR gate then realize it you will get same output.

output of 1st NOR = (A+B)'      -----I

output of 2nd NOR = (C+D)'      ----II

NOR of I and II

P = ((A+B)'+(C+D)')'

Last NOR = (P+E)'

first of all I will get output as E' which is actually not present in the actual output

No, with 4 nor gates output is not same, when I tried I got answer 7. Dharmendra said we can use 4 nor gates, but then I corrected him by saying that with 4 nor gate you get output as E' which is not supposed to be present in the actual output. Even I think answer should be 7.
