Doubt : Here W(A) is BLIND WRITE in T1 ..does this make any difference T1 T2 W(A) R(A) COMMIT COMMIT Databases transaction-and-concurrency + – jatin khachane 1 asked Nov 1, 2018 jatin khachane 1 262 views answer comment Share Follow See all 2 Comments See all 2 2 Comments reply Soumya Tiwari commented Nov 1, 2018 reply Follow Share I think it's not. A schedule is recoverable either - 1. There's no dirty read. 2. In case there's dirty read the transaction reading leading to dirty read should commit only after the other transaction has committed. Please correct if I'm wrong! 2 votes 2 votes jatin khachane 1 commented Nov 1, 2018 reply Follow Share Here W1(A) ->R2(A) is dirty read right ?..W1(A) is blind write doesn't affects coz if Tx fails before T1 commit and after T2 commit ..T1 rolled back so A comes to old value but T2 is already used and commited with updated value which was written by T1 bilnd write..which no more exists now.. 0 votes 0 votes Please log in or register to add a comment.
