strict 2pl: addition to locking being 2 phase,all exclusive locks taken by transaction must be help until transaction commits. in question the commit operation is acting last so no unlocking possible .

i will need some few more opinion on this question btw.

Generally, it is mentioned in the schedules when the locks are held and released for a particular transaction.

It is not mentioned here.

I think it's considering that lock is acquired before Read and write and released as soon as instruction is completed.
