Assume 140K, 260K, 60K memory is free. What is the total external fragmentation that arises for the following requests 110K, 30K, 210K, 50K using Best-fit policy, assume no compaction 

A) 120K

B) 110K

C) 60K

D)30K

if in question it is not mention that it is fixed size partition or dynamic partition then by default which one can we assume??? fixed size or dynamic??

$50k$ request also der which occupy 260k$^{\text{th}}$  slot. so total external fragmentation is $30k + 30k = 60k$ only.

Similarly 30k request can be allocated to 140k block (if we consider that reusing the block is allowed). So the fragmentation will be 30k only

All free list will be allocated once then only it will be allocated for 2nd time if needed i think.
