E1 = prob. that person 1 is alive 35 years hence = 5/16

E2 = prob. that person 2 is alive 35 years hence = 3/8

P(E1 and E2) = prob. that both person is alive 35 years hence = P(E1) * P(E2) = 5/16 * 3/8 = 15/128
