I mean can we say like “every irredundant is minimal” or “every minimal is irredundant” or “some expressions which are both minimal & Irredundant” Digital Logic digital-logic minimization + – mrinmoyh asked Jan 11, 2019 • closed Jan 11, 2019 by mrinmoyh mrinmoyh 575 views comment Share Follow See all 2 Comments See all 2 2 Comments reply Kunal Kadian commented Jan 11, 2019 reply Follow Share Every minimal is irredundant, but every irredundant may not be minimal. every irredundant is minimal - False every minimal is irredundant- True some expressions which are both minimal & Irredundant- True 2 votes 2 votes yadavg123 commented Feb 4, 2021 reply Follow Share @Kunal Kadian a) what is irreducible then? b) If question asks no. of minimal expressions and I have two answers like this: 1) F=A+C+H+G+E 2) F=A+C+G+H+F+D Then what should I answer? Because both are minimal as we can't reduce them further. So answer should be 2. Minimal means you can't remove anything and if you do so that won't be covering everything.
