I am a Computer Science and Engineering graduate. My problem is I have multiple interest and currently unable to decide which filed to focus.
BRIEF BACKGROUND
When I was in 2nd year that time Hacking interest me and after that I got to know I need to learn Linux and my interest shifts from Hacking to Linux. I invested almost 2.5 year to learn about Linux and after that "Kernel Developer" job title interests me(because they are consider elite group and have tremendous amount of respect) and set my goal to become Linux Kernel Developer. I also contribute to Linux Kernel some patches but after that I thought this not the thing which I wanted to do my whole life.
CURRENT STATUS
I am currently preparing for an Entrance Exam for Masters which will land me country's best Engineering Institute. I started preparation because I love almost all Computer Science subjects. But now Machine Learning or more broadly about Data Science interests me. Because its sounds cool and highly exiting to predict some thing in future form previous data or makes machine who think like human.
INTEREST(SUBJECTS)
1.I love mathematics specifically
Linear Algebra
Combinatorics
Probability
Number Theory
2. I also like almost all core CS subjects
CONFUSIONS
Which path to choose Android Development or Data Science or Higher Studies. Each of the three have specific reason why I like them
Android Development
I have some very creative Ideas (the ideas stock increasing day by day) and this will provide a way to implement
them and may provide some pocket money.
Higher Studies
The students who studies in Primer Institutes got tremendous respect from society and usually have much higher
salary. Another reason is its my childhood dream.
Data Science
By seeing impact and application of data science currently developed keen interest. Another reason is I am thinking
of joining/taking Machine Learning related job after Master, So why not now.
P.S.
-
Wanted to do some innovate work for which I will be proud of myself.
-
Job satisfaction comes first then salary
-
I love learning new things specially those which have real life implementation and often produce output little bit faster
Please Provide your suggestions
Thank You
