Both are true.

Using multiple network cards multiple MAC can be possible
Number of MAC address a computer can have depends on how many NIC (Network Interface card) it have in general all computer have only 1 NIC. But it can have many NIC (only one be used at a time) .

Usually practice is one ip per NIC so if multiple NIC are possible then multiple IP is also possible

hence both are true
ok thanks
