I am preparing for gate 2020, can someone please guide me about which books/sources should I use for solving problems in Data structure and algorithms? And should I solve the questions from the Cormen book (introduction to algorithms) for the gate preparation?

if you want to prepare for interviews than you should read cormen because that same doubt is for me also so i read GO site as @Bikram Ballav sir suggest that reading cormen is scary for beginner but if you used to it then it is best source for psu interviews also as well as gate and other exams like gate

coreman is a bible for data structures and algorithms but it is not good option to solve coreman while preparing for gate examination. instead of coreman you should read the book data structure and algorithms by narsimha karumanchi, made easy publications. it is also good for placement preparation. because it covers all the major algorithms, problems related to that and programming and mathematical solution for the problems.
