Now, RS join T (natural join on common attribute i.e AE in RS and AE is key in T, then it won't have any duplicates and A and E are primary keys of R and S respectively. We get AE as a key of RS and there won't any duplicates as well, so, in this case, max of 80 rows can be equal in RS join T). | RS join T |=80. we have RST as new table now. RST join U (no common attribute, so Cartesian product), therefore | RST join U| = 80*10=800 2 votes 2 votes himgta commented Jan 24, 2019 reply Follow Share @naveen bhatt when u join RST with U ,then D is a common attribute..isn't? 0 votes 0 votes naveen bhatt commented Jan 24, 2019 reply Follow Share Yes, it is. Sorry about that. But it won't change the answer, Imagine the table below for max rows D on both the table can have the same value which will reuslt in 80*10=800 rows. Hope it makes sense!. RST A E D 1 1 1 . . . . . . 1 U D G H 1 1 1 . . . . . . 1 0 votes 0 votes naveen bhatt commented Jan 24, 2019 i edited by naveen bhatt Jan 24, 2019 reply Follow Share Yes, it is. Sorry about that.
