Best answer 4 votes 4 votes B) All are same, it is 2*tp + Tt in all 3 cases, the reason is that all 3 cases comes under Automatic repeat request, so RTT definition is same for all 3 cases . for stop n wait http://quiz.geeksforgeeks.org/stop-and-wait-arq/ Bikram answered Feb 5, 2017 selected Feb 5, 2017 by sudsho Bikram comment Share Follow See 1 comment See all 1 1 comment reply Bikram commented Feb 5, 2017 reply Follow Share Question A) Round-trip time (RTT) is the length of time it takes for a signal to be sent plus the length of time it takes for an acknowledgment of that signal to be received. This time delay therefore consists of the propagation times between the two points of a signal. There is No world wide definition for RTT. in gate we consider only RTT = 2*Tp as Tt or transmission time is negligible. 6 votes 6 votes Please log in or register to add a comment.
