Which of the following gives the predicate logic representation of the sentence “Ram was a man”?

  1. Ram $\rightarrow$ man
  2. $\forall x:$ Ram (x) $\rightarrow$ man (x)
  3. Man (Ram)
  4. Man $\rightarrow$ Ram

 

I have marked option $1$ as the answer, however, as per the answer key released by DDA, option $3$ is correct.
I want to raise an objection to this answer.
