Symmetric difference or Boolean sum:

$A\triangle B / A\oplus B = \left\{x \ \mid x\in A  \ \text{or} \  x\in B \ \text{but}\ x\notin A\cap B \right\}$

  • $A\triangle B = A\oplus B =  (A\cup B) - (A\cap B) $
