A slotted ALOHA network transmits $\text{250-bit}$ frames using a shared channel with a $250\;\text{kbps}$ bandwidth. The throughput (percentage-wise) if the system (all stations together) produces $200$ frames per second(round off to $1$ decimal digit) will be __________

Transmission time $(T_t) = \frac{100}{100 \times 10^3} = 1$ ms

    $1$ second $\rightarrow 200$ frames

   $1$ frame $\rightarrow 1/200$ second or $5$ ms
    Or $1$ ms $\rightarrow 1/5$ frame

Average number of frames generated by the system during one frame transmission time is $G = 1/5$

 Throughput of slotted ALOHA $= G\times e^{-G} = 1/5 \times e^{-1/5} = 16.37 \%.$
