The following table shows total number of students in the Department of the Institute along with percentage of Females and Male students. Answer the question based on the data given below:

What is the ratio of the number of females in Civil and Electrical departments together to the number of males in the same departments together?

Option (D) is correct answer.

Number of females in Civil department = 220*.35 = 77

Number of females in Electrical department= 360*.65= 234

Total females in both department = 77+ 234= 311

Number of males in Civil department = 220*.65= 143

Number of males in Electrical department = 360*.35=126

Total number of males in both department = 143+126 = 269

Ratio = 311 :269
