add numbers on both sides (L + R) then divide the sum by 2 to get the middle  number.

(L+R)/2

case 1- (7+5)/2 = 6

case 2- (5+4+7+4)/2 = 10

case 3- (3+3)/2 = 3

 

 

therefore option D
