Marked price of the book $= 130%\;\text{of C.P.}$

Also, cost of paper $= 38%\;\text{of C.P}$

Let the cost of paper for a single book be $Rs.\; x.$

Then, $x = .38 \times 2021/1.3 = 590.75.$
