**Summation** is applied on Discrete Objects that can be mapped 1-1 i.e countable but **Integeration** is applied where we can’t map 1-1 ..

Just Think taking Real Life Problems..

eg.Let us suppose we want to weigh a Ball of mud..of radius r...As ball conatin many infinitly small mud particles so to weigh whole ball we can’t weigh each small mud particle which is immpossible so here we apply **integeration** on basis of some paramter of ball(let us take radius)….

Now think another situation where u want to weigh a bag containing 10 similar mud balls & each weighs 1 kg ..hence these are countable...so here we applies **Summation**.
