It’s true. I agree but still if the explanation is provided then also if someone has a doubt then also he might not be present to answer the doubt and if he is present then he has to see and understand the whole question and his own explanation to answer the doubt but yes, if the answer is complete (complete means provided all the details and assumptions etc.) then the chances of doubt will be less. “Yes, I too have seen that but anyways there is a lot of information/knowledge in comments and discussions which always help in understanding the question and the answer as well. And many times other answers are presented in a different way than the best answer are also very helpful.” -- Agreed 0 votes 0 votes Arjun commented Jul 8, 2022 reply Follow Share @ankitgupta.1729 Yes, we need to define the rules for selection of best answers but if for any question you feel some other answer is better than the selected best answer you can flag that question. "Best selection" is not static and when a better answer comes it can be changed. 0 votes 0 votes ankitgupta.1729 commented Jul 9, 2022 reply Follow Share @Arjun sir, it would be interesting to see how these selection rules will be made because there is no single definition of “Best Answer”. The answer which you feel best, might not be best for me and similarly the answer which I feel best, might not be best for you. Some prefer answer with few lines with less explanation which can be understood and some prefer long answer with full explanation. I could show my answer which was selected as best answer by you around three years ago and it is a wrong answer and people still believing it is true and I need to change it. And there were other answers too. So, best answer could be wrong also. If I would have the authority then I will never put an option as “Best Answer” for any exam question. 1 votes 1 votes Please log in or register to add a comment.
