Given that book has 366 pages that mean from page 1-366 numbers are used.

  • Total one-digit number=$9$ as from page $1 - 9$
  • Total two-digit number = $90$ as from page $10-99$
  • Total three-digit number =$267$ as from page $100-366$

So total number of digits used in given book= $9*1+90*2+276*3=990$

Total $990$ digits used to print a book having $366$ pages.

Option (C) is correct.
