Hi! I recently gave the written test for MSR CSE conducted by IITB. The test was subjective and focused on the field of specialization. The test was conducted both for MS and Ph.D. candidates. Having applied to the Intelligent Systems panel, the test had questions on HMM, Viterbi, word embedding, neural networks, Bayesian belief network, and image processing related questions.
I observed the list of shortlisted candidates carefully. I am curious to know what the people who gave GATE in 2021 and qualified for the test now do. For the Intelligent systems panel, 13 students who gave GATE in 2021 qualified, and only 2 students from 2022 qualified for the interview round.
Please note that I am genuinely curious to know about the journey these people take because they have achieved something incredible. Kindly let me know if you are one of these people or know about what these people do. Do they drop a year to explore AI/ML or something else?
