32 bit architecture and 64 bit architecture are the types of architecture based on size of input in ALU. It represent 1 word size of CPU. In 32- bit architecture 1 word = 32 bit and similarly for 64-bit, 1 word = 64-bit.

ps: 1 word size of CPU( which depend on ALU input size) and 1 word size of memory (which depend on memory storage) can be different.
