so,my doubt is why we do not use these data register to store intermediate result so, that we can minimise the use of temporary register.

controle unit behavier with data register and temporary register is different . if not then ambiguity problem to access these type of register

My doubt here is : Is there any difference in question asking for minimum ... ask for minimum number of variables required in three address code, Only then should we optimize the code before counting?
