All of the following statements are true:

  1. In virtual circuit switching, the scope of VCI(Virtual Circuit Identifier) is not the entire network.
  2. In datagram switching, packets are traveled in different paths.
  3. In Internet, we use virtual circuit switching technique.
  4. In circuit switching, the message is not break down into small pieces.

Virtual circuit switching is a method of transmitting data in which a dedicated circuit or path is established between the sender and receiver for the duration of the communication. In this type of switching, the VCI is used to identify the virtual circuit within a particular network or subnetwork, rather than across the entire network.

Datagram switching, on the other hand, is a method of transmitting data in which each packet is treated as an independent unit and is routed through the network based on its destination address. In this type of switching, packets may be transmitted over different paths depending on network conditions.

The Internet uses a combination of virtual circuit switching and datagram switching, depending on the specific needs of the communication. Circuit switching, on the other hand, is a method of transmitting data in which a dedicated circuit or path is established between the sender and receiver for the duration of the communication, and the message is not broken down into smaller pieces.
