Does anyone have updated e-study materials, especially the study handouts provided by big coaching?

Asking this solely because I personally think standard books, even though lengthy and informative, don’t address the type of questions they ask in GATE. As well the study materials provided by Resonance and Allen for JEE were quite self sufficient in many ways back in the day.

I am studying Computer Networks from Tanenbaum, it’s lengthy and clears the concepts but it doesn’t even closely introduce you with the GATE pattern questions. After spending a lot of time I realised, or made a point that study materials would be a good way forward.

If you are aware of any good study materials please link their updated copies. Will be forever grateful.

If you know of some really good study material, I would like to buy their physical copy. Please provide the link if available.

see there is no other alternative to standard books. Coming to your point, that it doesn’t even closely introduce you with the GATE pattern questions

If you can read every standard textbook(will obviously be a hectic process) will guarantee you that your each and every concepts is clear..after you finish reading them you can go on solving PYQ’s from GO Pdf’s, many toppers have given many unique answer, read each of them and your knowledge will increase…Also many standard resources links are also provided with every answer, go through them.

If you want to avoid these stuffs, then go for a good coaching. GO CLASSSES in my opinion is currently the best.You’ll just love deepak sir and sachin sir’s way of teaching. Buying books won’t help you with gate as mugging up or concluding to results given in book won’t be handy. A study material costs around 13K and won’t help much as, when a doubt arises no one is there to clarify it to you.

so either go for a good gate coaching or read the standard books, these are the best options to have if you’re serious in cracking gate

If you had done well in JEE then you wouldn’t be preparing for GATE right?
