“All hummingbirds are richly colored.”
“No large birds live on honey.”
“Birds that do not live on honey are dull in color.”
“Hummingbirds are small.”

Question is how do we know that what we should assume before converting such a problem  using quantifiers. As they they assumed in this solution like P(x), Q(x), R(x), ....are some statements..

Let P(x), Q(x), R(x), and S(x) be the statements “x is a hummingbird,” “x is large,” “x lives on
honey,” and “x is richly colored,”.

in my solution if i assume something else other then these and i get some different ans , so that ans would be right or wrong .
