What is the notion of k in a k-nary tree? Basically, what is the meaning of a k-nary tree?

k-nary tree means each node in tree has k children.

for example - 5-nary tree means each node has 5 children.

Can you explain me this equation please then:
I a n-nary tree the total no of nodes(say m) is given by..
m=nx + 1 (if x is the no of internal nodes say)

Total no of nodes should be
2( no of internal nodes) + 1 right?

Basically what is the significance of 'n' in eq 1 it should be 2nd equation always right?

I think k-nary tree means it will have atmost k children like binary has atmost two children
