Answer : No connection is required

 A datagram is a UDP packet and UDP is a "connection-less" protocol, and doesn't create a connection to another device.

As we know there are two types of Data transmission Protocols.

1. Connection-Oriented Protocol (TPC)

2.Connection-less Protocol (UDP)

In UDP, the message is transmitted in form of a Datagram,

Datagram basically contains the message as well as the Destination Address and that's why it does not require any Connection to be established. 

because it is having the Dest. Address it will independently decide its route.

So, Option B) is Correct.
