Suppose there are N devices in network.

In a mesh network every device can connect remaining (n-1) device.

Here Link Between two device will be counted 2 times.

Hence,Total Number of Physical channel required to Link between all device= $\frac{n(n-1)}{2}$

Hence,Option(D)$\frac{n(n-1)}{2}$.

Comments

If It had been single - mode links instead of duplex-mode links then answer would have been n(n-1) .
