Which book should I follow to practice questions for GATE 2017(besides previous years practice papers)? Suggest some online resources as well to practice good quality questions.

Apart from gateoverflow book you may visit this website www.geeksforgeeks.com. 

solve  exercise questions of reference books.There are good quality questions that cover the basics

you may find the list of reference books at gatecse.in I think that would be enough for Gate2017.
