Smaller time quantum leads to more context switch time and the time cpu spends actully executing the process is reduced.

I think it is false as neither larger(make it fcfs) nor smaller(increases turnaround time) It is a rule of thumb that 80% of the cpu bursts time must be shorter than the time quantum
