Ans should be A(from the definition of data mining)

Generally, data mining (sometimes called data or knowledge discovery) is the process of analyzing data from different perspectives and summarizing it into useful information - information that can be used to increase revenue, cuts costs, or both.. Technically, data mining is the process of finding correlations or patterns among dozens of fields in large relational databases.

Data mining is an interdisciplinary subfield of computer science.[1][2][3] It is the computational process of discovering patterns in largedata sets involving methods at the intersection of artificial intelligencemachine learningstatistics, and database systems.

since data mining is a task not a tool hence option b,c ,d  should  not true
