A man travelled from the village to the post office at the rate of 30 kmph and walked back at the rate of 5 kmph. If whole journey took 5 hours 48 minutes then find the distance of the post office from the village.

Speed = distance/Time

Time = Distance/Speed

Time in hours = 29/5 hours

29/5 = D/30 + D/5

D = (29 *30)/35 = 24.85
