The routing table of a router is shown as below:

On which interface will the router forward packets addressed to destinations 128.75.43.16 and 192.12.17.10 respectively?

128.75.43.16 ==> Eth1 (25 bits of network id are matched)

192.12.17.10 ==> Eth3 (does not match with any network address)

128.75.43.16  -> Eth1

192.12.17.10 -> Eth3

Pick the IP Address , start mathing with the longest subnet mask . If any match occurs stop there . If no match occurs send it to default interface i.e 0.0.0.0

Note:: We often got mistaken by starting the subnet mask from very first . Always Look for largest subnet mask .
