My doubt is which device to be used for connecting to LAN segments if
1. Two LAN segments having different physical topologies(like one has BUS and other has star topology)

2. Two LAN segments having different logical topologies(like one has ethernet  and other has Token ring or 802.11(wireless lan) topology)
--- I think a 2-layer bridge is sufficient for 1st. m i right??
plzz explain.......
