Best answer 13 votes 13 votes Answer is (A) We can use "any" in negative sentences with plural countable nouns e.g., Aren't there any books? We can use "any" in negative sentences with uncountable nouns e.g., Isn't there any paper? - here paper is uncountable Prateek kumar answered Sep 25, 2016 edited Sep 1, 2018 by Krithiga2101 Prateek kumar comment Share Follow See all 2 Comments See all 2 2 Comments reply chirudeepnamini commented Dec 9, 2019 reply Follow Share Can anyone tell why option d is wrong?? 0 votes 0 votes Argharupa Adhikary commented Jul 24, 2022 reply Follow Share Option d is wrong because here "paper" is uncountable. It should be "a few sheets of paper." "Few" is used to refer singular countable noun and "many" for plural countable noun. "Little" and "much" are used for uncountable noun. 2 votes 2 votes Please log in or register to add a comment.
