Avg. mark  $= \dfrac{(21\times 2 + 15\times 3 + 11\times 1 + 23\times 2 + 31\times 5)}{(21 + 17 + 6)}$

$=\dfrac{(42 + 45 + 11 + 46 + 155)}{44}$

$=\dfrac{299}{44}$

$= 6.795$
