The maximum possible file size is  

= maximum of (direct block addresses,  indirect block address,  doubly indirectly block address  1 triple indirect block addresses)

= (triple indirect address )

=$\left ( \frac{disc -block -size}{ disc- block -address- size} \right ) \times Disc block size$

=$\left ( \frac{256}{8} \right )^{3} \times 256 B$

= $\left (2 \right )^{15} \times 256 B$

= 8MB
