Gate prepration closed

Question

I'll be finishing my B.tech next month(May,17). I had appear for gate 2017(marks 36.25, rank 4777 general), as with this score i will not get any good colg. my concept is better than any average B.tech student. But could not score well  this time because of my poor maths(Diploma background)out my 13 wrong questions 8 were from numerical questions.

  so I am confused whether to drop a year for gate prepration or join some job ?

Please take some job and prepare for gate in parallel. You wont be having lots of work as fresher and u can have plenty of tym to prepare, In office library too(lol).

Don't drop a year as it will create lot of stress at the end and may impact your performance.
